Erby Ellis

Funeral services for Erby (Gates) Ellis, 91, of Godley, will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 2, 2005 at the First Baptist Church of Godley with Rev. Kenneth Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Godley Cemetery.

Mrs. Ellis' family will be present to greet friends at 9:00 AM on Thursday at the Godley First Baptist Church.

Erby Ellis, a retired bookkeeper, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2005 in Fort Worth.
She was born in Godley, Texas December 31, 1913. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan W. (Buster) Ellis January 29, 1995. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Godley, a 50 Year member of Eastern Star and a member of D.A.R.

She is survived by four nieces and three nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Margaret Bush and Gertrude Melton.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Godley or the Godley Volunteer Fire Department.
