ERNEST ORTEGON

Service for Ernest Gauna Ortegon, Sr. 72, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Ernest Gauna Ortegon, Sr. passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 in Cleburne. He was born on January 27, 1946 in Winters, Texas to Franco and Celia (Gauna) Ortegon. He married Mary R. Guzman on July 27, 1963 in Snyder.
He was a welder for Thomas Conveyer and was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista Emanuel Church.

Ernest family includes: his wife of 55 years, Mary Ortegon; children Ernest Ortegon (deceased), Robert Wayne (Becky-deceased) Ortegon of Cleburne, Susie( Jessie-deceased) Lozano of Cleburne, Daniel Ortegon and wife Vanessa of Cleburne and Sam Johnathan Ortegon and wife Nikki of Cleburne; siblings, Frank Ortegon of Snyder and Benito Ortegon of Snyder, Ovala Chapman of Abilene, Beatrice Arispe (deceased), Sam Ortegon (deceased), Andrew Ortegon (deceased) and Fred Ortegon (deceased); ten grandchildren Joshua, Eric, Christopher, Noah, Andrew, Zeke, Gavyn, Daxton, Sam Luke and Dani; one great-grandchild Violet and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
