Graveside service for Errol “Gene” Bryant 80, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:30 P.M., Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Reverend Donna Ware will officiate. Visitation 6-8:00 P.M., Friday January 29, 2021 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kip Curry, Jr., Zachary Curry, Kip Curry Sr., Cavet Smith, Randal Pope and Johnny Kelley. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Cashion and Dwayne Coleman.


Errol “Gene” Bryant passed away Saturday, January 23. 2021 in Cleburne. He was born December 22, 1940 in Clovis, New Mexico to A.A. and Bethel (Pope) Bryant. Gene Married Dellya Fern Smith on September 21, 1962 in Cleburne. He was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Gene had 16 years of service with Bell Helicopter, 11 years of service with LTV and 14 years of service with Lockheed Martain.

Gene is survived by his wife, Dellya Bryant; daughter, Genya Pope and husband Randal of Whitney; grandchildren, Kip Curry, Jr. of Dublin, Whitney Curry of Lubbock, Zachary Curry and wife Hollee of Blum; step-grandchildren, Randy Pope and wife Deanne of Keene, Mackenzie Pope and Justin Bain of Cleburne; great-grandchildren, Payson Curry, Sutton Curry; step-great-grandchildren, Story Pope and Dylan Pope.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents and son, Kent Eugene Bryant in 1997.
