Esmeralda Flores Reyna

Services for Esmeralda Flores Reyna, 77, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 3, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 P.M., with a rosary to follow from 7:00-8:00 P.M. in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial to follow in Rio Vista Cemetery.

Esmeralda passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, in Cleburne. She was born August 23, 1944, in San Diego, Texas to Edmundo and Guadalupe (Jones) Flores. Esmeralda married Refugio G. Reyna Sr., on July 14, 1961, in Cleburne. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Esmeralda was a homemaker.

Esmeralda is survived by her children, Refugio Reyna Jr., and wife Leticia of Magnolia, Alicia Garcia and husband Jose Luis of Cleburne, Consuelo Ortiz and husband Matias of Cleburne, Senaida Reyna of Dallas; grandchildren, Jose Luis Garcia III and wife Lucero, Miguel Angel Garcia, Reyna Nicole Garcia and husband Chad Cochran, Maribel Ortiz, Cristal Ortiz, Shymia Reyna, and Madison Paige Nowlin; great-grandchildren, Layah Marie Young, Jeron Louis Garcia, Aymaree Aleena Garcia; siblings, Edmond Flores Jr., and wife Juanita, Maria Guadalupe Rubio, Daniel J. Flores and wife Kathy, Angie Hernandez and husband Jose, Maria Elena Gallardo and husband Gilberto, Luis Flores and wife Elizabeth.

She is preceded in death by parents; husband; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

We would like to give a special thank you to Tia McKnight who cared for Esmeralda for six years. Not only was she a friend to our mom, but a part of our family.
