Esmeralda Guzman

Service for Esmeralda Guzman, 59, of Joshua, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 22, 2013 in the Eastern Heights Church. Pastor Juan Carlos Pioquinto will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Santiago Rodriguez, Jordan Rodriguez, Beto Galvan, Richard Aguirre, Federico Valdivia, Luis Reyes, Jose Reyes Jr., Albert Reyes and Ryan Avila. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.

Esmeralda Guzman passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Ft. Worth. She was born Dec. 16, 1953 in New Braunfels to Ignacio Guzman and Victoria Rodriguez.

Ms. Guzman was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her daughters, Joanna Valdivia and husband Federico, Melissa Reyes and husband Luis, Michelle Jacal and husband Rogelio and Sandra Rodriguez and husband Santiago; companion, Ramon Cabrera; 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Irene Guzman, Belinda Martinez, Donna Noriega and Cynthia Ramirez. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ignacio Guzman Jr.
