Estelene Gee

Graveside service for Estelene E. Calahan Gee, 86, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 12, 2015 in Baker-Lain Cemetery. The Reverend Mark Ely will officiate. Pallbearers will be Bill Earley, Jerry Calahan, Mike Earley, Jeff Calahan, Brad Earley, and Eddie Calahan. Honorary pallbearer will be James Calahan.

Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.

Estelene E. Calahan Gee went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. She was born December 13, 1928 in Goatneck to Vina Bell Patton and was raised by Fate and Bessie Calahan. She married Charles Gee on October 25, 1949 in Cleburne. He passed away on November 5, 1988.

In the early 1950’s Estelene worked for Southwestern Bell. Later she was a secretary for College Heights Baptist Church. After her children were grown, she owned and operated an antique store for many years. Estelene loved to travel, hunt for antiques, and dance. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her daughter, Darla Hall of Katy; son, Kevin Gee and wife Kelly of Cleburne; grandchildren, Heather Hall and fiancé, Byron Sea of Katy, Amy Lookabaugh and husband Jeff of Houston, Jared Gee and wife Stephanie of Cleburne and Dillon Gee and wife KariAnn of Ft. Worth; four great grandchildren, Ella Gee, Hudson Gee, Wyatt Lookabaugh and Davon Sea; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Vina Bell Patton and Bessie and Fate Calahan; brother, L.W. “Son” Calahan; and sisters, Vera Earley and Beulah Peterson.
