Estelle Doty

Service for Estelle Doty, 89, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, April 20, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Charles Payne and Mr. Eddy Carrell will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Matt Reynolds, Sean Creech, David Ivey, Gary Howell, Kent Delap and Marshall Hicks, Jr.

Mrs. Doty passed away April 16, 2023 in Weatherford. She was born April 3, 1934 in Cleburne to Oscar and Dovie Pettigrew Hicks. She married Finis Earl Doty on January 4, 1952 in Cleburne. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2004 in Cleburne. Mrs. Doty was a seamstress and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Doty is survived by her daughter, Becky Ivey and husband, David of Weatherford; grandchildren, Amy Creech and husband, Sean of Keller, Matt Reynolds of Celina, Jenifer Miller of North Lake and Stephanie Rowe of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Adyson, Ava, Brooke, Hannah and Parker; 2 great-great-granddaughters, brother, Marshall Hicks and wife Barbara of Cleburne; sister, Jean Find of Jones Creek and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Doty is also preceded in death by her parents and son Tommy Doty in 2018.

The family would like to thank the Holland Lake Rehab and Wellness Center, Alpha Omega Hospice, and Santa Fe Trails Assisted Living for the loving care that they gave our mother and grandmother.
