Ethel Hefner

Graveside service for Ethel Margaret "Becky" Harper Hefner has been rescheduled due to inclement weather for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 12, 2011 in the Ballew Springs Baptist Church, 2301 Ballew Springs Road, Weatherford, Texas 76088.
Pastor Bob Branch will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joshua Goodman, Caleb Goodman, James Yarbrough, Bobby Yarbrough, Andrew Hefner and Mark Owen. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hefner went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 30, 2011 in Ft. Worth. She was born October 26, 1930 in Ft. Worth to Luther Martin and Ethel Mae Eller Harper. She married Tom Clyde Hefner, Jr. in May, 1949 in Breckenridge.

Becky was a homemaker and attended Cleburne Bible Church where she enjoyed helping with the kindergarten Sunday school. She loved the Lord and her family and she will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Mrs. Hefner is survived by her sister, Sally Olson and husband Donny of Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law, Betty Hefner of Breckenridge; children, Janet Goodman and husband Brian of Cleburne, Anita Busch of Las Vegas, NV, Tom Hefner and wife Sandy of Mineral Wells, Shirley Nelson and husband Will of Cleburne, and Alice Hamilton of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Josh Goodman and wife Sherri of Saginaw, Caleb Goodman and wife Carrie of Ponder, Michael Hefner of Allentown, PA, Becca Tones and husband Rob of Dallas,
Sonya Kite and husband Tater, Sheena Terrell and husband Chris and Shawn Payne, all of Mineral Wells, LaDonna Carrell and fiance Michael Murphy, James Yarbrough and wife Meagan, and Andrew Hefner and Jannie Loftis, all of Ft. Worth, Lisa Braly and husband Terry of Weatherford; great grandchildren, Noah and Emilee Whitaker of Saginaw, Clayton and Claire Goodman of Ponder, Aiden Cleveland, Evynn and Jakob Hefner and Seth Tones, all of Dallas, Britney, Kara Dawn and C.K. Kite and Journey Harrison, all of
Mineral Wells, McKenzee Grace Yarbrough and Isabell and Analise Hefner, all of Ft. Worth, Brian Jennett, Taylor and Tanner Braly, all of Weatherford, four soon to arrive: triplets, Aaron, Austin and Kennedy Goodman and Corbin Tones; numerous friends and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Tom Clyde Hefner, Jr. on April 19, 2002, her brother, George Harper and her daughter, Elizabeth Hefner.
