Funeral services for Ethel S. Williams, 78, of Cleburne will be at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, March 29, 2010.

Ethel passed away Friday, March 26, 2010 in Cleburne. She was born to Albert L. and Fannie T. Pafford Stapleton on February 9, 1932 in Paris, Texas. She married Edward Earl Williams on March 14, 1969 in Fort Worth. Ethel was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she was active in the Awana program for many years. Ethel has been described as being angelic. She was a woman of strong faith, always being a positive influence. Ethel enjoyed reading and singing. Her giving nature and loving spirit will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Earl Williams in 1995; son, Glen Green in 2000; brothers, Luther and Luke Stapleton; sister, Maude Brown; and two infant sisters.

Survivors: Children and their spouses, Diana Reed, Michael and Glenda Green, Rebecca and Joe Green, Terry Mark and Ruth Williams; daughter in law, Vickie Green-McNatt; step children, Loren Edward Williams, Sarah Anna Elaban, Roger Green and Danny Green; 21 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Ridgeview Nursing Center and Mission Hospice for the special care given to Mrs. Williams.
