Euclid Whitehead

Graveside service for Euclid “Richard” Arthur Whitehead, 80, of Burleson will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in the Godley Cemetery. The Rev. Wayne McCoy will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Cody Fitzwater, Steve Capps, Thomas Whitehead, Charles Guy Whitehead, Rocky Whitehead, Keith Whitehead, Keaton Taylor, and David Martin,

Mr. Whitehead passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 in Burleson. He was born January 18, 1934 in Hood County to Charles Andrew and Ruth Hudson Whitehead. Mr. Whitehead married Helen Marie Collins on April 20, 1951 in Burleson.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and farmer, but his passion was playing music. Mr. Whitehead was of the Assembly of God faith.

Euclid Whitehead is survived by his daughters, Deborah Capps of Alvarado, Tina Worthey and husband Bill of Taylor; sons, Charles Whitehead and wife Brenda of Burleson and Jeff Rowney and wife Jennifer of Waynesboro, Pa.; daughter-in-law, Pam Whitehead of Joshua;13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Marlin Darrell Whitehead and wife, Helen; and brothers R.C. , Jr., and Marlin Whitehead.
