A Celebration of Life for Eudora Cameron, 98, of Lindale, Texas, will be held at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 5, 2022. Visitation will be prior to service from 10:00-11:00 A.M., Friday, August 5, 2022, in the Chapel. Chaplain Eddy Carrell will be officiating. Burial will follow in Fall Creek Cemetery in Hood County. Pallbearers will be Joe Wallace, Larry Henderson, Darrin Lynch, Douglas Lynch, Eddy Carrell, and Jerald Cameron. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Henderson, Frank Carrell, Bill Engle, Charles McCoy and Mike Morris.
Eudora passed away on August 1, 2022, at her home. She was born April 13, 1924, in Granbury, Texas to William Edgar and Minnie Estes White Carrell. She married Day Cameron on January 28, 1949 in Commerce, Texas. Eudora was beautiful inside and out with a smile that would light up a room. She was a lifelong Methodist and member of the First United Methodist Church in Lindale, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Day Cameron; parents, William Edgar Carrell and Minnie Estes Carrell; brothers, J.D. Carrell, Frank Carrell, Vernon Carrell, Tincey Carrell, and sister, Lovetia Henderson.
Eudora is survived by her son, Jerald Cameron and his wife, Cathy of Monroe, Louisiana; nephews, Charles Henderson, Larry Henderson, Frank Carrell, Eddy Carrell, and Hal Cameron; nieces, Wanda Morris, Dora McCoy, Minnie Wallace, and Francine Langford; sister-in-law, Ruby Carrell; grandchildren, John Robert Gaumnitz and Meg Gaumnitz, and four great-grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thank you to caregiver, Linda Burns and East Texas Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to East Texas Hospice in Tyler, Texas or First United Methodist Church in Lindale, Texas.
