Eunice Collins

Eunice Alberta Collins passed away August 10 in Yuma, Arizona.
She was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada on July 9, 1907.
During World War II, Alberta was considered "Rosie the Riveter" as she worked on B-29's in Tucson for Consolidated. She was a master quilter and made many gifts of her beautiful quilts for the people she loved so much.

Alberta was preceded in death by her husband James, daughter Dixie Grady, Son Winston "Winky" Collins, and brothers Jeromy, and Roy Knipe. She is survived by her daughter Marjorie Stogryn of Los Angeles, California; sons Jackie and Jerry Collins of Yuma; sister Bula Mae Click of Godley, Texas and brother Buster Knipe of Woodlands, California.
