Eva Doss

A memorial service for Eva Janelle Burns Doss, 90, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 24, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Brooks Monk and Mr. Ronnie Doss will officiate.

Janelle Doss passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in Clifton, Texas. She was born on August 20, 1928 to W.C. and Willie (Allen) Burns in Mineral Wells, Texas. She married Hilliard Brooks Doss on August 20, 1944 in Weatherford, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2001. Mrs. Doss was in retail sales.

Survivors include sons, Ronnie Doss and wife Sharon of Clifton, Texas and Bobby Doss and wife Linda of Seven Points, Texas; daughters, Dee Dee Clay and husband Dennis of Burleson, and Lori Russell of Chandler, Arizona; grandchildren, Shelley and husband Andy, Shannon and husband Jason, Tiffany and husband John, Daniel and wife Kristie, Bryant and wife Machelle, Bridget, Christie and husband Damon, Josh and wife Heather, Misty, Dustin and wife Kristin, Amy, and Sherri and husband Terry; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and son in law Ron Montgomery.

She was also preceded by her parents, daughters Becky Mentzer and Sue Montgomery, and granddaughter Brook Brand.
