Services for Evelyn Lebahn, 89, of Cleburne will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2005 in the United Presbyterian Church. Reverend Mike Thompson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Don Graf, Fred Rodriquez, Robert Dollgener, Bob Steed, Dr. Mason Shiflett and Mark Banton. Honorary pallbearers will be Garnell Baker and Morris Barham. Burial will be in the Greenacres Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lebahn died Saturday, August 27, 2005 in Bedford. She was born December 2, 1915 in Cleburne the daughter of Ernest Henry and Selma Graeter Ebner. She graduated from Cleburne high School in 1934, then attended the Draughon's Business College in Dallas where she graduated in 1935. She went to work in the office of Santa Fe Railroad in Cleburne.
Mrs. Lebahn was a devoted member of United Presbyterian Church in Cleburne. Through the years she was in the choir and sang duets with her sister, she assisted with Vacation Bible School and Sunday school classes. For over 19 years she assisted the church office using her beautiful hand writing skills to write memorial cards. She was married to Benjamin Fred Lebahn in Cleburne on June 11, 1946.
Mrs. Lebahn is survived by her two sons, Freddie Lebahn and wife Ann of Ft. Worth, Larry Lebahn and wife Melissa of North Richland Hills; grandchildren Nicole and Kimberly Lebahn, Misty Johnson, Tiffany Hoffman and Patrick Davis; great grandchildren, Zoe Johnson, Christopher Hoffman, Matthew Hoffman and Timothy Hoffman, three nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 2, 1982 and her sister Jeanetta Wylie on August 5, 2005.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday in the Cleburne Funeral Home.
