Evelyn Thetford

Service for Evelyn P. Thetford, 92, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Thetford, James Bullard, Earl Sides, Dwight Phillips, Glen Whitwell and Dwaine Shawver. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thetford passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 in Ft. Worth. She was born Nov. 17, 1920 in Littlefield to Jim and Wallace Sexton Ford Edwards.

Mrs. Thetford was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son, Barry Thetford and wife, Teresa of Cleburne; one grandson, Justin Thetford and wife, Traci of Burleson; one granddaughter, Kiki Warren of Burleson; and six great grandchildren, J.J., Justin Lee, Mikalee, Sena, Chandler and T.J.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph William "J.W." Thetford in 1989; two sisters and two brothers.
