Services for Evelyn May Trimble, 77, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2007 in the United Presbyterian Church. Reverend Mike Thompson will officiate. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. in DFW National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Talley, Glen Roof, David Roberts, Fred Rodriguez, David Conard and Jay Bowers.
Evelyn May Trimble passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2007 in Fort Worth. She was born February 8, 1930 in Ottawa, Illinois to Herald and Mary McCracken Conner. She married Bruce Trimble on March 4, 1950 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Mrs. Trimble was a homemaker and an active member of United Presbyterian Church, also serving in the choir. She was active with the council of the Camp Fire Girls; a community volunteer, serving in a wide variety of organizations, including, the Ruth Chapter of Eastern Star, where she was a past Worthy Matron. She was known for her passion for gardening and sewing. Evelyn was also known for her quick sense of humor and generous spirit. She was quick to give unselfishly and was an outstanding mother and wife.
Evelyn May Trimble is survived by her husband, Bruce Trimble of Cleburne; two daughters, Deborah Martin and husband Donald of Maypearl, TX and Doretta Conrad and husband David of Round Rock, TX; son, David Trimble and wife Linda of Richardson, TX; sister, Leona Reed and husband David of Fredericksburg, TX; five grandchildren, Dr. Cynthia Martin of Abilene, Julie Martin of Maypearl, Pfc. Robert Martin of Maypearl, Amber Conrad of Round Rock and Lauren Conard of Round Rock.
