Everett Stephens

Service for Everett C. Stephens, 94, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:30 P.M., Friday, December 18, 2020 at True Life Church. Reverend Don Worlow and Reverend Chris Copeland will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the funeral home.

Everett C. Stephens passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 in Cleburne. He was born July 18, 1926 in Covington, Texas to James Gurley and Mamie Jewel (McMurrey) Stephens. He married Reba Wanell Lester on May 16, 1950 in Cleburne. Everett was a load loader operator for Texas Lime Plant with 25 years of service.

Everett is survived by his wife, Reba Stephens of Cleburne; children, Everett Ray Stephens and wife Debbie of Belton, Ronnie Dale Stephens and wife JoAnna of Bryan, June Bosworth and husband Monty of Grandview, Mary Hall and husband Gordon of Cleburne; grandchildren, Staci, Rebecca, Ronnie Kyle, Sandi, Parker, Stephanie, Stormi, Lisa, Shayla, Samara; 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Newman Ray Stephens and wife Mae of Cleburne.

Everett is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ula Joe, Flora Mae, Kinkie, Marlene; brothers Bob, Short, Wayne, Sonny; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
