Service for Ezra “Bobbie/Nano” Higginbotham, 96, of Bluff Dale, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 10, 2023, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel with Chaplain Eddy Carrell officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado.
Mrs. Higginbotham passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, in Granbury. She was born July 13, 1927 in San Saba to Edward and Rene (Robbins) Mabry. Bobbie married William H. Higginbotham in 1946 in San Saba. She was of the Baptist faith. Bobbie was truly the best mother and grandmother ever! Her grandkids were her joy. After her son Danny passed away, she raised her grandson, Chris. For 40 plus years Bobbie owned her own beauty shops. She was a ceramicist for many years. Bobbie was generous with all her resources, time and talents. She was quick-witted, feisty and you always knew where you stood with her. Bobbie enjoyed horse racing, bingo and gambling in general. She will be greatly missed. She was at her happiest when surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her son, Sandy Joe Higginbotham; daughter, Kimberly Miller and her husband, Bryan; grandchildren, April, Condra, Lisa, Lori, Daniel, Jennie, Tommy, Tyler, and Tiffany; numerous great-grandchildren including, Brett, Kayman, Scott, Seth, Cole, Sarah, and Jacob; great-great-grandchildren, Iris, Emory, and Finn; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Higginbotham was preceded in death by her parents, husband (1997); sons, Willie and Danny Higginbotham; and grandson, Chris.
