Farrell Elder

Services for Farrell Elder, 74, of Joshua, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. John Glover will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Farrell Weems, Arnold Weems, William Weems, Matthew Weems, Greg Clark and Shawn Elder.

Farrell Elder passed away Thursday, February 8, 2007 in Ft. Worth. He was born September 17, 1932 in Goldthwaite, TX to James and Essie Griffin Elder. He married Myra Wise on February 2, 1974 in Ft. Worth.

Mr. Elder served in the US Army and worked in maintenance for Alcon Lab. He was of the Baptist faith.

Farrell Elder is survived by his wife, Myra Elder of Joshua; 4 sons, Harold Weems and James Weems of Joshua, Marty Weems of Hemmet, California and Charles Weems of Burleson; two brothers, John Elder of Covington and Glen Elder of Joshua; three sisters, Patsy Johnson of Blum, Elizabeth Bostick of Blum and Linda Williamson of Benbrook.
