Fay Upchurch

Fay Upchurch, was born on August 13, 1957, and peacefully passed away on January 10, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and affection, cherished by her family and friends.

Fay had a vibrant personality and an adventurous spirit. Known for her love of APW wrestling, movies, and Elvis Presley, she found joy in the simplest of pleasures. Her passion extended beyond just entertainment; she enjoyed going to flea markets and had a keen interest in coin collecting. These hobbies brought her fulfillment and happiness throughout her life.

Surviving Fay are her devoted daughters, Jeanna Story and Paul, Mindy Fuller and Jacob, Danielle Herrera, and Kristen Cruz and Carlos. She also leaves behind her sons, Fredrich Montgomery, Jr. and Cassidy, and James Kelly Upchurch and Emily. Her legacy further continues through her grandson, Adam Upchurch, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and host of nieces and nephews, who will remember her fondly.

Fay is also survived by her two brothers, Amos Kelly, Jr. and Teresa and Glen Kelly, who will carry on her memory in their hearts.  Her beloved dog, Sweet Pea. Her longtime partner, James Abshire, shared many beautiful moments with her, and his support and love were a constant presence in her life.

Fay was predeceased by her parents, Amos Luther Kelly, Sr. and Lola Lee Carpenter, along with several siblings. They will undoubtedly welcome her with open arms in eternal rest.

Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, January 20, 2025, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Funeral service for Fay will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne.

In her passing, Fay Upchurch leaves behind an indelible mark on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit and passions will be remembered fondly, and her legacy of love will live on through her family.
