Faye McMillan

Services for Faye McMillan, 84, of Cleburne, will be conducted in the Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, September 1, 2010 with Chaplain Steve Durbin officiating. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Kimball Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org .

Mrs. McMillan passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 in Cleburne. She was born to Gene and Maude Jiles Bateman on June 14, 1926 in Kopperl, Texas. Faye married James "Skip" McMillan on June 30, 1956 in McGregor. She retired as a bookkeeper from Allied Van Lines in 1986. Faye was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Densil Morris; son, James "Jimmy" Morris; and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, James "Skip" McMillan; sister, Mildred Stewart; and a host of other relatives and friends.
