Fern Holland

Service for Fern Quattlebaum Holland, 93, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend John Glover will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Charles Payne. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shane Neal, Nicholas Neal, Christopher Neal, Connor Neal, Ricky Quattlebaum, Kenny Moore, Allan Young, and Joe Reyna. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Quattlebaum, Vernon Reed, Josh Moore, Justin Moore, Willis Hughes, Gary McAlister, Joey Quattlebaum, Randy Quattlebaum, and Larry Quattlebaum. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Holland passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Grandview. She was born March 6, 1925 in Alvarado to Richard Benton and Edna Moore Quattlebaum. She married J.W. Holland on July 19, 1948 in Hillsboro.
Mrs. Holland was a mail order booking agent for Montgomery Ward, retiring after 43 years of service. She was a member of Field Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Cherilyn Moore and husband Steve of Cleburne; grandsons, Shane Neal and wife Amber of Roanoke, Nicholas Neal of Ft. Worth, Josh Moore and wife Jessica of Grandview, and Justin Moore and wife Stacy of Raeford, North Carolina; granddaughter, Niki Moore McMillian of Burleson; granddaughter-in-law, Tiffany Neal of Keller; great grandsons, Christopher Neal, Connor Neal, Lane Moore, Brent Wilson Jr., Trevor Black, Cole McMillian and Scott McMillian; great granddaughters, Kennedy Neal, Kambry Neal, Karter, Neal, Trystin Moore, and Avery Moore; brother, Jimmy Quattlebaum and wife Joan of Casa Grande, Arizona; treasured niece, Darlene McAlister of Cleburne; and a host of additional loving family and friends. Fern was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, J.W. Holland on Oct. 7, 2011; brothers, Clint Quattlebaum, Jack Quattlebaum, and Noel Quattlebaum; and a sister, Betsy McAlister.
