Graveside service for Finis Rogers, 82, of Ft. Worth will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Rosehill Cemetery.
Finis Rogers passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Ft. Worth. He was born December 15, 1935 in Godley to Foley C. and Gladys V. Thomas Rogers. He married Wynelle Wallace in 1975 in Ft. Worth.
Mr. Rogers served in the United States Army and was an inspector for Lockheed before retiring. He had a servant’s heart and enjoyed helping people; especially the homeless. Finis was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his children, Russell Rogers and wife Shirley of Bastrop, Randy Rogers and wife Mary of Rowlett, Bryan Rogers of Ft. Worth and Karen Meyer of Houston; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Bonnie Ervin of De Leon; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Wynelle Rogers; and two brothers, Jimmy Rogers and Charles Rogers.
