Service for Flora J. Case, 97, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 in the Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church. Her grandson, Reverend Michael Harper and son-in-law, Reverend Dwayne Harper will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Ragon, and her great grandchildren, Crew Harper, Hunter Martinez, Connor Harper, Justin Case, and Isaiah Britt.
Flora J. Case passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 in Corinth. She was born March 12, 1920 in Megargel to George William and Bertha Frances Harvey Twilligear. She married Don Carlos “Jack” Case, Jr. on Jan. 14, 1939 in Edinburg.
Mrs. Case, along with her husband owned and operated Case Camperville and R.V. /Travel Trailer business in Cleburne. Flora was an active member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church since 1952, where she previously taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and was a member of their quilting group. She was always willing to help her family and friends whenever needed.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Harper and husband Dwayne of Shady Shores; grandchildren, Michael Harper and wife Rhonda of Waxahachie, Stephen Harper and wife Krista of Louisville, KY, David Case and wife Linda of Overland Park, KS, and Holli Ragon and husband Joe of Glen Rose; 10 great grandchildren, Hunter Martinez, Lauren Britt and husband Isaiah, Justin Case, Crew Harper, Connor Harper, Caymin Harper, Emma Ragon, Anna Ragon, Cross Harper, and Carlie Harper; one great-great granddaughter, Eisley Britt; and her brother, G.W. Twilligear and wife Charlotte of Leakey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Jack; son, Don Leroy Case; grandson, Don Todd Case; six brothers, Melvin Twilligear, Merle Twilligear, Chester Twilligear, Cranford “Slats” Twilligear, David Twilligear, and Lavell Twilligear; and six sisters, Opal Barnes, Alvie Berry, Lottie Twilligear, Janelle King, Betty Jean Welsh and Pearl Blackshear.
