Floyd Camp

Service for Floyd Earl Camp, Sr., 85 will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M Monday, September 20, 2021 at the funeral home.

Floyd passed away September 14, 2021 in Fort Worth. He was born May 3, 1936 in Glen Rose, Texas to Joel Rodney and Margaret Ethel Pope Camp. Floyd married Shirley Ann Russell on November 10, 1956 in Keene. He was a hardworking man and enjoyed talking to friends. He was a good husband, great dad and friend to all.

Floyd is survived by his wife of 65 years, Shirley Camp of Cleburne; sons, Floyd Camp, Jr. of Georges Creek, Danny Joe Camp of Cleburne; daughters, Beverly Ann Camp and husband Ricky Wiley of Cleburne; brothers, Kenneth Camp and wife Lois of Cleburne, Roger Camp and wife Marilyn of Rio Vista, James Camp of Waxahachie, Cecil Camp of Nemo; sisters, Mary Harrison and husband Doug of Haltom City, Dovie George and husband Kenneth of Richland Chambers, Ruthie Collins and husband Andrew of Joshua, Margaret McCollum and husband Murray of Rio Vista; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Floyd is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Joe, Monroe, Jessie, Luther, Jimmy, Tim Ronnie and daughter, Kathy Marie
