Floyd Fergason

Service for Floyd Fergason, 90, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend F.L. Ashley will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.

Mr. Fergason passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 in Weatherford. He was born Jan. 14, 1923 in Glen Rose to Thomas Allbert and Sarah Annie Gent Fergason. Floyd spent the early years of his life in Blum before moving to Cleburne where he lived the remainder of his life.

Mr. Fergason served in the United States Army Artillary Division. He was a self-employed livestock trader and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include his sons, Luther F. Fergason, Jr. and wife Sheri and Tommy Fergason and Kim Howard; daughters, Nelda Morris and husband Keith and Louann Connelly and husband Michael; grandchildren, Jennifer, Chad, Tyler, Michelle, David and Haley; great grandchildren, Caleb and Hunter; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend and caregiver, Betty Wallis. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Ruby Kathran; his parents; five brothers; and four sisters.
