Foster Jobity passed away quietly at the age of 73 in Cleburne, Texas on Sunday, March 27, 2011 He was born August 5, 1937 in Toribtrace New Grant, Trinidad. He married Josslyn Bruce on September 23, 1960 in Oropouch, Trinidad. They had four children together, Ann Marie Jobity of Keene, TX, Rio Jobity of Long Beach, CA, Eric Jobity of Baytown, TX and Michelle Jackson of Houston, TX. He is also survived by one brother, Carlyle Jobity; five sisters, Ancilla Reece, Angela Dingwell, Eola Hinds, Marva Jobity and Julia Jobity; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Foster Jobity worked in oil refinery construction for over 30 years, traveling all over the United States. He died in the Seventh-Day Adventist faith.
Service for Foster Jobity will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 7, 2011 in the Emmanuel Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Pastor Whitney Phipps will officiate. Pallbearers will be Eric Jobity, Rio Jobity, Dwayne James, Surcie Jackson, Rio Jobity Jr., and Wilfred Ross. Burial will be in the Keene Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
