Services for Frances Inez Clark, 78, of Keene, will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2006 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Elder Benjamin Leach and Elder Max Trevino will officiate. Burial will be in Keene Cemetery.
Frances Inez Clark passed away Monday, December 11, 2006 in Ft. Worth. She was born August 30, 1928 in Jacksonville, Florida to John W. and Frances Fenters Clark.
Miss Clark retired as Director of Education for the Seventh Day Adventist Church-Southwestern Union. She received her Bachelor degree from Southern Missionary College in 1958 and her Masters of Education from the University of Maryland in 1971. During the 40 plus years she spent in education, Frances received numerous awards for her leadership in educational programs and services.
Miss Clark is survived by her cousin, Ruth Elizabeth Stagg of Keene and her children, Del, Robert, Andy, Kirk and Sara Stagg; nephews, Edwin Tyre and wife Sandra of Crawfordville, FL, Hugh Tyre, Jr. and wife Claudette of Palmetto, GA and Robert Tyre and wife Jan of Orange Park FL; great-niece, Mary Beth Griffin of Jacksonville, FL; extended family, Bonnie and Randy Bryn of Shreveport, LA and children, Tiffany and Jonathan, Deanna Pichler and daughter Colby of Cocoa Beach, FL and Dan Pichler of Hobe Sound, FL.
A special thank-you to Dr. Rhett Fredric, the 6th floor Oncology and Neuro ICU staff at Plaza Medical Center in Ft. Worth.
The family would also like to thank these special friends, Elder Max and Betty Trevino, Walt and Carol Herrell and Clifford and Sue Craig.
Memorials may be made to the Frances Clark Scholarship Fund at Southwestern Adventist University in Keene.
