Frances Johnson

Services for Frances Johnson, 76, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 in the First Baptist Church of Godley. Reverend Kenneth Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Preston Johnson, Latham Johnson, Dusty Johnson, Chance Johnson, Erick Gustafson, Brent Johnson and Mike Standifer. Honorary pallbearers will be Monty Taylor, David Riza, Charles Throckmorton and Dan Swindell. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Frances Johnson passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born June 16, 1933 in Bridgeport to Francis Marion and Millie Bell Yeats Medlen. She married Bernis Johnson on May 31, 1954 in Oklahoma.

"Mrs. Bernis" was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Godley.

She is survived by her husband, Bernis Johnson of Cleburne; sons, Bernie Jay Johnson and wife, Janna of Hico and David Johnson and wife, Karen of Aledo; daughters, Lesa Gustafson and husband, John of Glen Rose and Donna Rumohr and husband, Greg of Rio Vista; brother, Bill Medlin and wife, Pat of Azel; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
