Frances Whitehead

Services for Frances Inez Whitehead, 91, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Larry Whitehead will officiate. Burial will be in Cresson Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m.

Frances Inez Whitehead passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in Crowley. She was born August 9, 1917 in Johnson County, TX. She married Olin Whitehead on October 23, 1934 in Granbury.

Mrs. Whitehead was a farmer and was a member of First Baptist Church in Alvarado.

Frances Inez Whitehead is survived by her daughter, Frances Ollene Vaughn and husband, Leroy of Rendon; son, James Harrold Whitehead and wife, Jessie of Alvarado; sister, Mitty Quigley and husband, Stan of Nebraska; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Lowell Ellis Whitehead in 1985 and her husband, Olin Ellis Whitehead in 1995.
