Graveside services for Francys Jean Wofford, 72, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 4, 2020 in the Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the funeral home.
Francys Wofford passed away September 19, 2020 in Alvarado. She was born September 19, 1948 in Needles, California to Clarence Albert Mack. She married William Lee Wofford on August 25, 1964. Mrs. Wofford was a substitute teacher.
Francys was very friendly and enjoyable to be around. She was a talker with a very sweet demeanor. To know her was to love her. She enjoyed mowing her lawn. One of her greatest joys was being at the school with the kids. She always looked forward to being around family. Francys was a quality painter and a talented seamstress who spent time assembling crafts for others. Francys was a sacrificial servant who invested much in the lives of those around her.
Survivors include her son, William L. Wofford and wife, Wendy of Cleburne; daughter, Ronda J. Marshall and husband, Randy of Sunset, Texas; granddaughters, Brandy Gale Laney and husband, Joseph of Cleburne, and Brittney Lee Wofford of Cleburne; great-grandchildren, Hagen Lee Wofford, Joseph William Laney, and Danielle FaithLaney (on the way); best friend sister, Catherine VanSickle of Alvarado; and numerous other extended family and loving friends.
Preceding her in death were her parent; husband, William Lee Wofford on February 13, 2009; and brother, Bryan Mack.
