Frank Robinson

Services for Frank Robinson, 80, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Matthew Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Derden Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Martidale, Mark Robinson, Charles Davis, Bobby Adair, David Thompson and Jamie Thompson.
Frank Robinson passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007 in Cleburne. He was born January 9, 1927 in Blum, TX to William Marion and Henry Dellar Barker Robinson. He married Clota Lightsey in 1946 Johnson County, TX.
Mr. Robinson was a self-employed general contractor and a member of American Legion Post #51 and Rescue Mission Independent Baptist Church. He also served in the US Army.
Frank Robinson is survived by his sons, Fairris Wicker and wife Sharon of Cleburne and Steve Robinson and wife Patsy of Cleburne; daughters, Viva Burk and husband Larry of Cleburne and Elywn Flatt and husband David of Keene; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his cherished companion and caregiver, June Rice of Cleburne and her children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clota Robinson, June 1992 and son, Richard Robinson.
