Fred Brown

Service for Fred C. Brown, Jr., 83, of Joshua will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 28, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Carl Gorman will officiate. Burial will be in the Caddo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Brown passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born June 5, 1927 in Cleburne to Fred C. Brown, Sr. and Martha Alyene Dodson Brown. He married Vivian Williams on June 4, 1948 in Cleburne.

Mr. Brown served in the United States Army and was a retired mechanic for the Montgomery Ward Company.

Fred C. Brown, Jr. is survived by his wife of 62 years, Vivian Brown; daughter, Vicki Worbington and husband Mike; grandson, Tyson Worbington and wife Misty, all of Joshua; granddaughter, Darci Jackson and husband Cory of Burleson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
