Freda Semff

Service for Freda Mae Semff, 79, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, January 19, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Al Munger and the Reverend Sharon Bell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Michael Lain, Robert Allen, Chris Johnson, Charlie Davis, Michael Knox and Milton Williams. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 P.M. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Semff passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011 in Ft. Worth. She was born March 28, 1931 in the Whitehall Community to Louis and Tonie Moeller Schmidt. She married Melvin R. Semff on October 12, 1951 in the Whitehall Community.


Mrs. Semff was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture where she was a head clerk for 38 years. She was a member of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. She enjoyed attending her book club and many church activities.

Mrs. Semff is survived by her husband, Melvin Semff; one daughter, Brenda White; two grandchildren, Mandi and Taylor White, all of Cleburne. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Viola and Ruby.
