Frona Lackey

Services for Frona McCall Lackey, 93, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2008 in the Sand Flat Baptist Church. The Rev. Ben Stricklin and the Rev. Scott Whitson will officiate.Burial will be in Laurel Land, Ft. Worth. Pallbearers will be Gene Birchfield, Junior Bakke, Ronnie Spencer, Paul David Laudadio, Tim Laudadio and Jim Yates. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Shuttlesworth and Derek Burney.

Frona McCall Lackey passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008 in Keene, TX. She was born November 17, 1914 in Moshim, TX to Moses and Sarah Elizabeth Lee McCall. She married J.B. Lackey on June 22, 1934.

Mrs. Lackey was a homemaker and a member of Sand Flat Baptist Church.

Frona McCall Lackey is survived by her sisters, Fay Laudadio and husband, Paul of Corpus Christi and Wanda McCall of San Antonio; sister-in-law, Sue McCall of Corpus Christi; a number of nieces and nephews; her bonus family includes: Jr. and Liz Bakke of Cleburne; grandchildren, Bill and Brenda Shuttlesworth of Conroe, Derek and Lori Burney of Houston; great-grandchildren, Collin Shuttlesworth, Braden and Kamerann Burney. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B.; brothers, Roy Ruben McCall, John David McCall, George McCall, Bill McCall and Mac McCall; sisters, Vera Hammock, Jewel Sears, Florine Sykes, Bennie Moore, Parrie Yates and Janet Wendell.
