Gail Wright

Service for Gail Joyce Wright, 78, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Brooks Monk, and the Reverend Rick Chaney. Burial will be in Covington Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gene Bryant, Chris Johnson, Greg Reaves, Marvin Hughes, Danny Wright, and Cordell Estrada. Honorary pallbearer will be Donny Wright. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home.

Gail Joyce Wright passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 in Alvarado. She was born Nov. 19, 1937 in Globe, TX to Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow W. Baker. She married Daniel Joe Wright on June 12, 1954 in Ft. Worth and he preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 2007.

Mrs. Wright worked for 13 years at Cowpasture Bank and 14 years at Cleburne ISD Team School. She graduated from TCJC with an Associate in Arts degree and studied music for many years. She was the pianist for the First Baptist Church in Covington for 30 years and also for many other churches. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her three sons, Mark Daniel Wright and wife Pam of Ft. Myers, FL, Christopher Wilson Wright and wife Betty of North Richland Hills, and Keith Martin Wright and wife Jane of Cleburne; brothers, Gary Browne and Mike Browne; sister, Victoria Browne Fledpausch; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
