Service for Garland “Pepa” Carroll, 88, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 19, 2022, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Dr. John Hall will officiate. Burial to follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, February 18, 2022, at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Rusty Forsythe, Kirt Forsythe, Ricky Joe Carroll, Jr., Bodie Carroll, Kobe Carroll, Tyler Forsythe, Travis Forsythe, and Jordan Conner.
Garland Carroll passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, in Cleburne. He was born December 31, 1933, in Cleburne, Texas to Buster Leon and Robbie Nell Carroll. Garland married Helen Murray on October 15, 1956, in Marietta, Oklahoma. Mr. Carroll worked at Lockheed Martin from 1963-2000. Garland had a love for working with cattle, farming, showing cows and a great love for his family. He was a member of Field Street Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen; parents; sister, Jerry Sanders; daughter, Terri; son, Leon; granddaughter, Cheyenne Nicole Fisher.
Survivors include two sons, Clifford Ray Carroll and wife, Sherri of Joshua, Ricky Joe Carroll and wife, Penny of Cleburne; son-in-law, Carl Fisher of Carrizo Springs; sister, Darlos Preston of Grand Prairie; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
