Garner Hallmark

Graveside services for Garner (Big Bob) Hallmark, 76 of Blum, will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Blum Cemetery . Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. You may leave condolences for the family at www.cpcleburne.com.

Mr. Hallmark passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his family after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born to Porter and Lucille Hallmark on August 2, 1933 in Gorman , Texas . Big Bob worked as a glazer in the construction business for many years and was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married Helen Marie Hackler in February of 1978 in Cleburne . "Papa" as he was called by his grandchildren loved to talk, work on antiques and sell or trade anything. Big Bob will be missed greatly by all those that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Danny McCall; and brother, J.D. Hallmark.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Helen Hallmark; children, Garner Hallmark, II, Wendell Hallmark, Bennie Bell, Mike McCall, Roy Bell, Tammie White, Stacey Kyle, Lil' Bob Hallmark, and Michelle Hallmark; siblings, Carlton Hallmark, Celia Hatley and Joe Cole; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
