A celebration of life for Gary Dean “Beav” Beaver, 80, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 24, 2023 in Haikey Chapel, United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Inurnment to follow in the Bixby Cemetery, Bixby, Oklahoma.
Gary passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023, in Cleburne. He was born March 24, 1943 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Amos Harry and Stella Mae (Moody) Beaver. Gary married Joyce Elaine Miller in Fort Worth. He was a member of Haikey Chapel, United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow Oklahoma. Gary served his country in the United States Army National Guard for 6 years. He was known as a man of integrity, making him a good leader. Gary was the owner/operator of Beaver Pools for 42 years that served Texas and Oklahoma. Gary served as President of Cowtown Society of Western Music. He had a passion for music and dancing. Being a people person, he always kept a positive outlook about him. He was an avid football and NASCAR fan. Gary was a collector of all treasures found at sales along his travels. Children and animals brought him great joy throughout his life, especially his grandchildren. Gary spent countless hours in his garden, working with his horses or silver smithing. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Miller; children, Lisa Beaver, Hokti Beaver, and Levina Bryant; grandchildren, Sebastian Beaver, Shyanne Clapp, Jessica Kauley, Brie Hays, Tristen Bryant, Jason Bryant and Cooper Bryant; great-grandson, Jace Clapp; siblings, Milo Beaver, Glade Beaver, Vance Beaver, Eddie Wells, Vivian Blackwell and Harry Beaver; Annie his beloved dog and companion of 13 years; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Don Beaver and Michael Beaver.
