Service for Gary “Bear” Moresco, 65, of Alvarado will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Kevin Diggs will officiate. Burial will be in Watts Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Roden, Mark Carpenter, Scott Farquhar, Donald “Pinky” England, Charlie DeVore and Morris “Moose” Noles. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Saturday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Moresco passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 in Cleburne. He was born March 9, 1947 in Ft. Worth to Primo and Neva Helen Hunt Moresco. He married Paula Stapper on June 17, 1994 in Alvarado.
Mr. Moresco was a supervisor with 30 years service for Hall Mechanical. He was a 32nd degree Master Mason in the Grandview Lodge No. 266 and Alvarado Lodge No. 314. He served as District Deputy Grand Master District 63 Grand Lodge of Texas in 2007. Mr. Moresco enjoyed taking dance lessons with his wife and friends at Dance Across Cleburne Dance Studio. He was a member of Watts Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Moresco of Alvarado; two sons, Doug Moresco and wife Heather of Lometa and Billy Moresco and wife Sheryl of Weatherford; three daughters, Angie Moresco of Crowley, Tracy McClung and husband Aaron of Hurst and Amy Allen and husband Samuel of Hurst; parents, Primo and Helen Moresco of Alvarado; six grandchildren, Tanner, Mason, Miller, Ruby Kate, Eli and Deegan; and sister, Judge Pat Jacobs and husband, Bob Messer of Alvarado. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Luigie Moresco and Porter and Neva Hunt.
