Services for "Butter" Gary T. Speer, Jr., 23, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Charles Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Charles Layland, Chad Lee, Dustin Lyles, Kenneth Hunter, Dustin Seay, Dustin Stewart, Merle Flippin, Jr. and Brad Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Randal Lee, Steve Moore, Woody Moore, Glen Moore, Jr., David Lyles and Billy Moore.
"Butter" Gary Speer, Jr. passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008 in Cleburne. He was born October 1, 1984 in Ft. Worth, TX to Gary T. Speer, Sr. and Ingrid Lynn Moore.
Butter was an outside operator for Smithfield Bio Energy and was of the Baptist faith.
Butter Speer is survived by his fiancee, Stefani Marsh of Cleburne; stepson-pal, Lee Marsh of Cleburne; mother, Ingrid Honea and husband, Robby of Whitney; father, Gary T. Speer, Sr. of Arkansas; sisters, Sarah Malone (Charlie) of Arkansas, Sandra Maas (Doug) of Cleburne, Kryste Barnes (Jason) of Cleburne and Jennifer Yzaguirre (Richard) of Cleburne; brother, Kacey Honea (Brittany) of Cleburne; grandparents, Glen and Cherry Moore of Cleburne and Emogene and Thomas Speer of Cleburne; three nieces; eight nephews and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Speer; great-grandparents Frances and Otis Flippin, Alamarene Ferris, Willie Frank Moore and cousins, Brandi Layland and DeAndra Moore.
