Services for Gary Worley, 65, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 12:00 noon, Friday, April 6, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Internment will be at 3:00 in DFW National Cemetery.
Gary Worley passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2007 in Ft. Worth. He was born August 16, 1941 in Vernon, Texas to Willie Altus and Jessie Pauline Bowman Worley. He married Vickie Suzanne Hill on December 14, 1988 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Mr. Worley retired as a pipefitter in the commercial construction industry. He was honored by being named Soldier of the Year, while serving with the Green Beret during the Vietnam war, receiving two Purple Hearts. He was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union #146 and Friendship Baptist Church where he was a devoted servant of the Lord.
Gary Worley is survived by his wife, Vickie Worley of Cleburne; four sons, Mark Worley and wife Andrea of Austin, Matthew Worley and wife Rebecca of Ft. Worth, Michael Walker and wife Jennifer of Ft. Worth and Stephen Walker of Cleburne; one daughter, Monica Hannah and husband Richard of Ft. Worth; brother, Monte Worley of Kimberling, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, Zachary, Tristan, Piercen, Garrison, Nolan, Morgan, Allison, Peyton, Logan, Aaryn and Justin.
