Gaylon Burch

Service for Gaylon Wesley Burch, 65, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 10, 2022, in the First Baptist Church, Rio Vista. Reverend Jacky Mears will officiate. Burial to follow in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, February 10, 2022, prior to the service at the Church. Pallbearers will be Jerry Don Shelton, Tommy Baldwin, Burl Wayne Shelton, Dustin Dollar, Clint Dollar, Patrick Steen, and Johnathan Goodman.

Gaylon passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in Rio Vista. He was born July 5, 1956, in Whitney to Gaylon Lydell and Frances Louise Shelton Burch. Gaylon was a farmer for many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Rio Vista.

Gaylon is survived by his mother, Frances Burch of Rio Vista; son, Christopher Keith Burch of Tampa, Florida; brother, Michael Joe Burch of Rio Vista; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends.

He is preceded by his father, Gaylon Lydell Burch who passed in 1997; and brother, Roger Lydell Burch who passed in 1994; paternal grandparents, Joe and Colleen Burch; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Alice Shelton.
