Gene Bicknell

Service for Gene Edward Bicknell, 81, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church. Reverend Charles Payne and Reverend Brooks Monk will officiate. Burial to follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Friday, April 16, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church.

Gene Bicknell passed away April 14, 2021 in Cleburne. He was born to Clinton Francis and Alma C. (Jameson) Bicknell on December 1, 1939 in Johnson County, Texas. He was a Salesman in the car industry as well as an Office Manager for Yancey Grain. He also served in the United States Army. He married Sheila Marie Williams Yancey on July 1, 1998 in Marietta, Oklahoma.

Gene is survived by his wife, Sheila Yancey-Bicknell of Cleburne; children, Stephen Bicknell, and Natalie of Cleburne, Shawn Bicknell, and Tawnee of Cleburne, Shelley Stanley, and J.D. of Cleburne, Eddie Yancey, and Kristie of Cleburne, Michelle Yancey, and Jamie Beckerich of Celina, Texas; grandchildren, Holly Bicknell, Taylor Brown and Cody, Madison Zimmerle and E.J., Katie Bicknell, Lauren Bicknell, Audree Bicknell, Boston Bicknell, Trevor Stanley and Tayla, Tatum Douglas and Tyler, Trey Stanley, Ty Stanley, Amanda Chism and Daniel, Emily Yancey and Erin Yancey; great grandchildren, Liam Bicknell, Carson Brown, Greyson Douglas, Brantlee Stanley, Evie-Mae Stanley, Maddoxx Douglas, Walker Douglas and Asa Chism; brother, Melvin Bicknell, and wife Brenda of Burleson; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents; twin son, Shane Eric Bicknell; brothers, Clinton James, J.E., Alvin, and Brian Bicknell; sister, Laverne Huffman.
