Gene Hutson

Services for Gene B Hutson, 73, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 31, 2006 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Cleburne Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Floyd Hutson, Gary Hutson, Mike Hutson, Duane Hutson, Wendell Sims and Charles Sims. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Hearne, Bill Erwin, Eldon Thomas, Louis Neal Allen, Pete Wilkins, Billy Joe French and Richard Grace.

Gene B Hutson passed away Monday, August 28, 2006 in Keene. He was born January 10, 1933 in Johnson County, Texas to Ed and Retta Poe Anderson Hutson.

Mr. Hutson retired in 1985 after 40 years of service as a carman for Santa Fe Railroad. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of American Legion Post 648, Rio Vista and VFW. He was of the Baptist faith.

Gene B Hutson is survived by his daughter, Gina Jordan and husband Jack of Cleburne; brother, Billy Hutson and wife Kay of Granbury, Edward Hutson of Rio Vista and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herman Hutson, R.B. Hutson and Virgil Hutson; sisters, Mozelle Sims and Zella Duhr.
