Services for Geneva L. Harris, 79, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Charles Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Cemetery.
Geneva L. Harris passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007 in Cleburne. She was born December 28, 1927 in Brazos Point, Texas to Clark and Mary Bell Force Tuggle. She was married to Henry Curby Carlock, Jr. from 1945- 1965 and William Cleveland Harris from 1968 to 1982.
Mrs. Harris was a stocker at Wal-Mart for 22 years and at Earl Williams Grocer for 19 years. She loved dancing, crossword puzzles, bingo, TV game shows and dogs. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Elks Lodge of Cleburne.
Geneva L. Harris is survived by her sons, Curby Carlock and wife Angelita of Cleburne, Rick Carlock and wife Beverly of Cleburne and Robby Carlock of Cleburne; step-sons, Michael Harris, Larry Harris and wife Phyllis of Cleburne and Christopher Harris of Dallas; step-daughters, Brenda Smith and husband Richard of Cleburne and Shelia Lemmond and husband Jackie of Garland; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; half-sister, Veta Tinnins of Flagstaff, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband,Willie C. Harris; brother, Coyt Tuggle; 6 half-brothers and 2 half-sisters.
