Graveside services for George Adam Brock, Jr., 84, of Godley, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2007 in the Godley Cemetery. Rev. Eddie Carrell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Glen Guthrie, Albert Raifsnider, Jimmy Crook, Dillard Crook,Richard Brock, Clifford Byron Brock and Martin Kyle Brock.
George Brock passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007 in Ft. Worth. He was born March 23, 1923 in Godley, Texas to George, Sr. and Maggie Morrison Brock.
Mr. Brock was a rancher, a realtor and owned and operated Godley Feed Mill for 35 years. He also served in the U.S. Air Force.He was a member of Primative Baptist Church and Godley Masonic Lodge for 50 years.
George Brock is survived by his niece, Jo Kathryn Martin of Crosbyton,TX; nephew, Byron Brock of Lockney, TX; friend, Frances "Sis" Siratt of Grandview; friends, Albert Raifsnider of Godley, Glen Guthrie of Godley, Jimmy Crook of Irving and Dillard Crook of Granbury; several great nieces and nephews and close freind and caregiver, Joyce Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, John, Melvin Howard, Marion Brock and nephew, Harold Brock.
