George Fowler

Services for George Monroe Fowler, 74, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009 in the Calvary Baptist Church. The Reverend Charles Payne and the Reverend Donnie Williams will officiate. Pallbearers will be Heath Witte, Cory Finch, Dustin Finch, Ryan Finch, Mike Witte and Jeremy Fowler. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery.
Mr. Fowler passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2009 in Cleburne. He was born Oct. 28, 1935 in Nash, Tex. to Tyson and Ruth Stone Fowler. He married Wanda Jane Witte on Aug. 20, 1977 in Ennis, Tex. Mr. Fowler was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and was a supervisor for Lone Star Gas. George was a 32nd degree Mason in the Masonic Lodge and was a dedicated family man who loved to read and loved to hunt and fish.
George Fowler is survived by his wife, Wanda Fowler of Cleburne; two sons, Randall Dean Fowler and wife Judy of Mesquite and Roger Dale Fowler and wife Kathy of Kemp; two daughters, Brooke Leigh Davenport and husband Cody of Burleson and Linsey Rey Fowler of Austin; six grandchildren, Jeremy Fowler, Ashley Chappell, Casey Fowler, Delaney Fowler, Grant Davenport and Michael Stone; two great grandchildren, Jacie Fowler and Malee Fowler; sister, Ann Tawater of Ft. Worth and numerous brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
