George Hilliard

Service for George Warren Hilliard, 92, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Michael Gibson will officiate. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the funeral home.

Mr. Hilliard passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 in Cleburne. He was born April 14, 1930 in Stamford, Texas to Thomas Warren and Clara Fay Lindsey Hilliard. George married Marjorie Mae Jenkins on July 15, 1948 in Hamilton, Montana. They were married 69 years before her passing on March 14, 2018. He was a member of Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was a lab technician for 12 years with Walls Regional Hospital in Cleburne and 13 years with Menard Hospital in Menard, Texas.

He is survived by his sons, George Thomas Hilliard and wife, Janet of Burleson, Floyd Lee Hilliard of Michigan, and James Vernon Hilliard and wife, Angela of El Paso; grandchildren, Rosalie, Rebecca, Amber, Colista, Melissa, and James Michael; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Marilyn, James Patrick and Matthew James.
Mr. Hilliard was preceded in death by his wife; sister, Ruth Helen Hilliard, and grandson, Benjamin Thomas Hilliard who passed away in 2008.
