George Sanders

Services for Mrs. George Allen Sanders, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008, in the Crosier-Pearson Chapel. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, TX. Honorary pallbearers will be James Walker, Dwight Walker, Bill Marshall, Robert Anderson, Gerald Anderson, Gerald Anderson, Onnie McCullough and Aaron Shannon.
George Allen Sanders, 83, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2008. She was born January 16, 1925 in Venus, TX to George and Maggie Jackson Webster. She married Willie Sanders.
Mrs. Sanders graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Cleburne and from Paul Quinn College in Waco. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse, retiring from Methodist Hospital in Dallas with 30 years of service. She was of the Jehovah's Witness faith.
George Allen Sanders is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Shannon of Dallas; two sons, Gregory Sanders of Dallas and Willie Sanders of Mexia; three grandchildren, Latosha Shannon, Aaron Shannon and Buddy Sanders; three great-great grandchildren, Andria Minster, Tezara Shannon and Trayvenon Valentine; 15 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie; her parents, George and Maggie; 4 sisters and 1 brother.
